The following reports were taken from the Boston Police Department Allston-Brighton District D-14 crime logs from April 21 to April 27.



Officers responded to a call for a loud party in Allston at about 4 a.m. April 27. Officers talked to apartment residents and broke up the party. When officers left, they noticed writing on the side of their police car: "I arrest pig communists since they're red," read the message, followed by a smiley face with a line through it. After speaking with witnesses, officers concluded three males dressed in black, one of whom was on a skateboard, wrote the message in black marker. Witnesses said the suspects wrote on the car and ran toward Harvard Avenue.



NOT WATER COOLER MATERIAL



An Allston resident contacted police after receiving lewd text messages from a former coworker April 24. She told police her coworker has called her every day for the past year and a half, telling her he loves her and wants to marry her. She said she told the suspect on several occasions that she is not interested and denied all of the man's proposals. She said she has also received pictures via text message of an unknown man's genitalia from an unknown number, that she assumes is her coworker's.



THE TAMING OF THE SCREW



A Brighton resident filed an assault report at 9 a.m. April 23. He said he met with another man to install fire alarms. While they were installing the alarms, they got into an argument and one man threatening the other with a screwdriver.



TWO-WHEELED TERROR



A bicyclist collided with a meterman he he was writing a ticket in front of a Brighton residence at about 5:40 p.m. April 26. The meterman said the crash was intentional and a verbal altercation followed. The cyclist said after he crashed into the meterman, he called him a vulgar term, which started the argument. The bike rider also said after he hit the meterman, the meterman charged at him and verbally assaulted him. The biker admitted he crashed into the meterman, but said it was unintentional.
