In a news story Tuesday ("BU warns against some methods of getting aid," page 3), it was mistakenly implied due to a reporting error that Financial Assistance Director Christine McGuire said if a student turns in the FAFSA and reorganizes their assets afterward, it is fraud. It is not fraud if a student moves their finances after the FAFSA is filed. It is fraud to not report the assets as they are the day the FAFSA is filed.

In a news story Thursday ("VOX, health officials give advice on abortion, sexual health," page 3), it was mistakenly implied due to a reporting error that Planned Parenthood social worker Jennifer S. Levine-Fried referred to 24-hour abortion waiting periods as traumatic. She said abortion waiting periods cause unnecessary delays for women seeking abortion services, which can lead to riskier procedures after the first trimester.

In a news story Thursday ("Initiative plans to focus Asian studies disciplines," page 1), it was incorrectly stated that professors and students discussed creating an Asian studies department due to an editing error. ASIABU aims to create connections among students and faculty in Asian studies.
